I can't stand Bruce Springsteen's politics. I don't think he should
punish his fans for the actions of their government. I wonder if he's
ever performed in the Middle East? Russia? China? Or scores of other
countries that have harsher laws than N.C. ?
As a father and husband I instinctively sided with protecting my wife and daughter. I don't want them to have to use a bathroom with some strange man pretending to be a woman.
But then somebody pointed out the obvious to me. Where do you suppose these transgender folks had been going to the bathroom all this time? You know before it became politicized?
Have you ever seen a woman in the men's restroom with you? Have you ever seen a man go into a woman's room?
Would you have known?
In all likelihood we've been in one with a transgender and never knew it.
Well that's about to change in NC. If you identify as a woman and dress like one but in fact are a man then you'll have start going into the men's room or you're breaking the law.
