She's obviously young and dumb and she made a mistake.
Is there any chance of redemption for her?
What if she showed remorse and she was sincere? Would that be enough to give her another chance and let her keep her job?
What if she was sharing this with her friends some of whom were black and none of them had an issue with it. Would that make it okay?
What if she was sharing this with her black boyfriend?
What if she were part black?
I'm not a fan of hip hop but I understand that this word is used a lot by some artists. If she were merely singing along to a song and sang that word should she be fired then?
Is there any possible condition that could exist that would allow her to keep her job?
I'm not trying to be provocative or contrarian. I'm simply trying to understand this new standard.
As a kid I was a huge fan of Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy. I know I've repeated some of their off color of jokes. Should that cost me my job?
I actually know why you didn't want to answer my question and why Stacy Swimp didn't want to answer either.
We all know that if she were black she wouldn't even get a reprimand.
This is the hypocrisy of the left. They want to demonize whites for using the "n-word" and they will demand that persons head. Like this dumb girl, like Paula Dean. Who was fired by the Food Network.
But when Larry Wilmore calls our president "my n-word" we hear silence from the black community. Sure we'll have some conversations about whether he crossed a line. But no one demanded that he be fired from his job at Comedy Central for saying far worse than this girl ever did.
