something to hide"? That is Donald Trumo's concept of what law and order

Stop and Frisk allowed police to stop private citizens for "furtive movement".
This is very subjective. It means when someone "looks" a certain way.
Is that what you call sound policy? Do you understand how subjective looks can be?!
I will never support stop and frisk, nor respect the spirit of anyone who does.

Sorry, the police can't help you. The police can't do anything to make your neighborhood safe. All they're allowed to do is to show up after you've been robbed at gun point and make a report?
There is nothing proactive that they can do to make your neighborhood safe.
Don't bother calling the police when you see some kids that are up to no good. The police can't do anything until they've actually assaulted you or robbed you.
Do you honestly believe that the police just show up in a black neighborhood at random to harass young men? Who do you think called them?
Megan Cameron-Scott Replied to me - That's exactly how it is now. Thank you, from baltimore. I was almost maced while only with my preschooler, by elementary kids ....cops couldn't do anything. Several waves of attempted robberies with knives in broad daylight....cops couldn't do anything. No harm, no foul. "Back off" is their orders, unless a crime is committed. It's ridiculous. I see weirdos everyday and I'm not a cop, but it's plain as day they just aren't doing ordinary business. Nothing done until shots fired. It's ridiculous.
