Next we need to develop better testing for marijuana and better laws defining intoxication and driving.

I don't believe people should lose their job or be arrested for driving under the influence because they smoked a little on the weekend and it's still in their system.
However, I don't want people driving or working next to me operating heavy equipment under the influence endangering lives.

 
That being said, we need to establish legal limits as to what constitutes intoxication.
If you get into an accident and you have pot in your system they're going to try to blame it on you and put you in jail. Even if the pot is from one week ago.

Same with injuries on the job. most manufacturers have policies that require a drug/alcohol test if you are injured on the job.

I don't want standards established to punish people but to protect the casual users.
